#2

In 1918, the United States Post Office started regular service of mails by air. The post office set a high price of 24 cents for the service and issued a stamp just for this rate patriotically printed in red and blue. The stamp depicts the  plane chosen to shuttle the mail. Over the years, the value of the stamp has increased tremendously, and it is now the most requested postage stamp for viewing by visitors at the Smithsonian National Post Museum. The reason for its popularity is an error in the stamp. What is the error, or alternatively, what is the stamp called?
